ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Corrina Joyner. I am from a relatively new city called Stonecrest, Georgia which is about 20-30 minutes away from Atlanta, Georgia. But.... If you're from Atlanta you know that pretty much anything 20-30 minutes away is still considered Atlanta. I am the only child to two loving parents who continuously inspire and encourage me. Ever since I was little, I always told them that I wanted to be IN the tv, however, at such a young age I wasn't sure what that meant. As I kept continuing and expanding my knowledge, I knew that my passion was Broadcast Journalism and that's what led me to High Point University. When I'm not on the path of studying to be on a tv near you, I am focused on the following: my family, friends, being a student ambassador, being on the executive council of the Black Student Union on campus, and being apart of the club Point Blank. After HPU, I hope to be a morning news anchor that focuses on lifestyle living, and entertainment segment things. Eventually leading to the route of having my own tv show.
