Anti War Blog
The picture above describes what society calls "mainstream news sources". Mainstream media brings about the idea of different news sources relying to the list above of the various of the different media outlets. In today's society, we have seen mainstream media specifically within digital media news platforms and their social media accounts.
Based off of the two websites given on the class blog: Anti War and The American Conservative, I honestly never heard of these two news sources. I personally would never really use these websites because they aren't organized to my liking. For me, if I'm going to search through something for about 5-10 minutes then I probably will move onto another source. With that being said, this brings about the lack of patience my generation has to finding/receiving information. Since we are growing up as technology evolves, we like for information to be quick even though most of the time that information isn't accurate.
I believe one of the many reason we don't hear/see stuff from the Anti- war side is because many of what we call mainstream media today worry about pleasing their audience. When Trump was running for office, the term fake news was highlighted when CNN or MSNBC was referenced. We tend to have the idea that the different mainstream news sources cater to different political views. Does this make it right? No.
